ITINERARY DESCRIPTION

7 Days / 6 Nights 

DAY 1: ALCALÁ DE HENARES

Breakfast at the hotel. Tour of Alcalá de Henares, the city of Cervantes. A mere 30 kilometers away from Madrid, this city is known for being both a famous university center since centuries ago, as for for having seen the birth of Miguel de Cervantes, author of Don Quixote. Our tour allows you to get to know the best of Alcalá de Henares in just two hours.  We will follow a route which runs through the center of Alcalá and which gives you the option to see its buildings, streets and most significant places. We start with the University and walk towards the Historic Center, the two key pieces of Alcala de Henares on the list of UNESCO World Heritage.

DAY 2: CÓRDOBA (am), SEVILLE (pm)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Córdoba, the 3rd largest city of Andalusia. Visit the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, a beautiful building of military character, with splendid gardens and mosaic rooms. The mosque, converted into a cathedral after the Christian conquest, will undoubtedly call your attention with its size because it is the second largest mosque in the world.You will fall in love with “Patio de los Naranjos”, “La Puerta de las Palmas” and a thousand more details. Do not miss walking through the Jewish Quarter and visiting the craft market, its charming squares and the most typical streets of the city. While enjoying a pleasant walk through these streets, you will find a monument dedicated to the Maimonides and, of course, the little synagogue of great cultural interest.

Departure to Seville, Andalucia´s capital city. Once you get to Seville, you can contemplate Maria Luisa´s Park, the most famous park in the city. Next, we will visit the Christian Gothic cathedral, a World Heritage Site, follwoed by the Santa Cruz District, one of the most popular in Seville.  We end the tour with a visit to the Alcazar where you will notice an interesting mix of styles: Islamic, Moorish and Gothic.

DAY 3: SEVILLE (am), GRANADA (pm)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Granada, only a few hours away from Marbella. We start off by visiting the Cathedral to get a first sense of the city and its calm yet joyful atmosphere, and later on get lost through its streets. This way, you will enjoy everything this wonderful city has to offer, starting with its squares, bars, shops and restaurants.

DAY 4: GRANADA – LAS ALPUJARRAS 

Breakfast at the hotel.  Then we will enjoy a full day in the Alpujarras where we will admire the natural beauty of its landscapes and the charming white villages.

DAY 5: GRANADA – ALHAMBRA Y GENERALIFE

Breakfast at the hotel.  Departure to visit the majestic Alhambra and the Generalife Gardens.

DAY 6: GRANADA – TOLEDO, TOLEDO CITY TOUR (pm)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Toledo, one of Spain´s most historic cities.  In the afternoon, a tour of this amazing city, a great place to wander through the narrow streets, squares and gardens, which makes the visit a unique experience. Toledo retains the image of a refugee in medieval city walls and towers. Within its historic grounds awaits the solemn cathedral, the neuralgic Zocodover Square and the imposing Alcázar facing the Tagus river. One recommendation: get lost in its streets. Toledo has much to offer.

DAY 7: MADRID

We start the day with breakfast and then we depart to visit the Royal Palace and Prado Museum. Then continue with a panoramic tour of the city, passing through famous avenues like Gran Via and Castellana, and well-known squares like Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, where you can stop and enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch we finish the tour with Paseo de la Castellana, Plaza Colón and the football stadium of Real Madrid: “Santiago Bernabeu”.  Free time in the afternoon.

DAY 8: DEPARTURE 

Breakfast and free time until the time of transfer to the airport for your flight back home. End of trip and our services.
