Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in 4×4 Jeep towards the High Atlas Mountains. We pass through terraced villages and we begin the ascent to Coll de Tizi’n Tichka, 2,660 meters high. The route takes us through varying landscapes of great beauty, from the green valleys of Marrakech to the ocher pre-desert landscapes.  Arrival at Zagora Palm Grove. Free time for lunch (not included) and then we continue the trip to the city of Zagora, famous crossroads and place of departure of most expeditions to the heart of Africa.   The famous sign ” Timbuktu 52 days by Camel” is at the end of Main Street. We pass through lunar landscapes on the way to the foothills of the M’Hamid dunes. Here our camels are waiting for us, which will take us back to the camp in 20 minutes. (SEE: Important notes) We spend the night under the starry sky in typical Berber tents.

En We head to Tamegroute in our 4×4 Jeeps.  A sacred place of Islam, with an ancient library that collects old books with the Koran written on gazelle skin. Later we continue to Zagora, where we have lunch (included) in a Riad with swimming pool, and where we can refresh ourselves.
